    Not sure if this composition works. What do you think?

    Landscapes and still life camera
    Fuji S3 Pro
    Nikon D90
    Nikkor18-200mm AF-S DX VR Zoom,
    Nikkor AF Micro 60mm f/2.8 D

    Birding camera
    Canon 40D
    Canon 400mmL f/5.6

    Larkspur very nice capture of the mountain river. Try this out for composition, see the white sky and just below that there is a patch of gray crop it just there, here is my reason. The way it is now your eyes continue right throught the image and up to the bright sky missing the best part of the image. With the crop to that gray area your eyes flow through the foreground and flow right straight back to the water and the rocks in the background, plus what I like is the wide view and you don't see that dark tree trunk in the upper right corner. Just love these types of images and have not done these in so many years and hope to do some this year.

    I think that this view is much much better, now how do you fell about the crop now Larkspur?

    I also like the crop much better. You could also cloned out the white sky in the upper section. You have enough leaves around the image to use.
