    Kanawah Falls, West Virginia

These falls are very wide but not really the prettiest scene when you include all of them. I took these in the near dark and am amazed they turned out at all. You can see the lights in the background but the photos look like they were taken in the daylight.

    Here is the entire falls:

    Fuji S3 Pro
    Nikon D90
    Nikkor18-200mm AF-S DX VR Zoom,
    Nikkor AF Micro 60mm f/2.8 D

    Canon 40D
    Canon 400mmL f/5.6

Wow, they did turn out nice for it to be so dark.
    What was your ISO setting?

Hi Larkspur, I really like these images with the fall colors and the water falls. I wanted to check the EXIF data but it seems that you saved these for the Web which removes the EXIF data from the image.
There is a magenta cast to the over all images, and easy to fix that in these images. In Photoshop go to color balance and you should see some sliders and adjust the magenta one to the right should really fix the color cast.

    Goto: Image, adjustments, colour balance.

    Again very nice captures.

I see the colours are changing in WV also. Dennis is joining me for another drive to Florida. We leave Sunday morning and will be driving through this area in mid afternoon. Will you still be in the area?

Thank for the help Dennis. When I saved the image in photoshop I clicked on "Save As" then selected jpeg. Is there another way?

Have fun on your trip Dennis and Don. I am already back in Tennessee now and am headed for Kentucky this afternoon. The leaves should be close to peak when you drive through Charleston WV. Should be a nice drive!

Larkspur not a problem with the help. That seems to be the way that I save my images, but something is stripping out the EXIF data, and I have a clue to that. Flickr is stripping out the data if you don't use the Original size to link to that image here.
I size mine on the PC and always use the original size so that the EXIF data shows when any one looks at the data.
