Chuck, another nice image of Roxy. Here is my take on this image, I don't like the hand up on the face area. It creates a shadow on the face, as well as the neck area, so I would have had her to place that hand on the back of her hair to open those areas up a bit. The other thing is I don't know the setup that you used here, but I think having a flash off to the side and use the on board flash for fill may help. And of course both can be controlled from the camera.
I would really like to know what your setup was for this shot.

Chuck, first of all I hope you don't mind me doing something with this image, if so please let me know.
I did not like the shadows and I was thinking about this and found a way, the main problem is that I was dealing with a small image to start off with.
I used the following.
Nik Viveaz
Nik Color Efex 4
Viveza I took a control point on the right arm, neck and left hand area. What I did was use the eye dropper on the area that I wanted the same skin tones from, the major area was the right arm to get right and cloning and healing did not work out to well, so I used the Smudge tool to help rid the imperfections in that area, not 100% but close enough for a small image.
Colour Efex 4 the only thing that I used here was the Dynamic Skine tone filer and use the least strength. So here is the after and before image.
Again that right arm can still use some tweeting, but I think that this is much better and less shadows showing up there. The neck and left hand one turned out very well and you can see Roxy's face a lot better and the softer skin worked I think alright.

Nice photo and I like the white BG, as for the edit version that sure made a nice change.
