Peter, I'm jealous since I have never seen a Snowy Owl ever. We had reports of one right down the street from us on the Lakeshore and have yet to spot it, and it has been seen in a park and have seen some catures of the Snowy, but yet to have luck with seeing it. I would sure love to get a chance at photographing this owl.

Just love these images. I would agree that cloning out that wire would really make the owl stand out even more on the last image. I love the pose in that second image, and the eye I would try to brighten a tad to make it really stand out. Some good shooting in some very cold weather, but my bet is it was worth going out.

Thanks everyone, I will try cloning out cable have not had much practice with that tool. As for photographing the Snowys Dennis they are only located about .5 hour north of Cornwall. I have seen them the past three years in this location must be prime hunting grounds for them.

Wow Peter, I remember you telling me about this owl a few years back now, and it is still there how neat. I think you may be right about it's prime hunting ground.
