Snowy Owls St Isadore Road Casselmen Ont

Went out this morning since it was a balmy -25 degrees Celsius here in Ottawa, but it was sunny. Managed to get some shots of Snowy Owls, their were three of them perched on hydro poles on this road.

    Wind Blowing in my face.

    Nice series

My fav is #3 also, but I would crop the bottom to get the wire out of the shot.

Thanks for the positive comments. Trying to get some images of a Golden Eagle in the area I have seen it, but was unable to get a photo yet.

Super images here. I have never seen one live before, but I sure have fallen in love with this owl looking at some images.

I have to agree James one of the nicer looking owls, one thing that I noticed is they seem to be completely silent when flying.

Peter, these are nice shots of the Snowy owl... Dennis has told me about a owl being in our area and he has never seen one before and has been looking for it but yet seen it. I would love to see him get a few shots of one after seeing that third shot you post...Very nice.

Oh my! What a great a set of the Snowy which I have never seen except seeing images. I agree with Chuck about cloning out the wire and bolt on the pole. That last one is a WOW for sure.
