    Red Shoulder Hawk

    I posted a image a few days ago of a Red Should Hawk and this is the same one with a slightly different pose.

    This is nice, and like the pose and that glare in the eyes and I would love some images like this one.

    A bird I have not yet seen. Stands out nicely from the background and the glare in the eye gives it life.

    Great shot Dennis, and I too love the eye on this shot, and I would love to have a chance at shooting a hawk.

    Thanks James for your comments and I agree that the eye really makes the hawk stand out. You can get shots like this, all is is finding them and being able to get close enough and this takes some patients.

    Brian, I have not seen them up here, but in Florida I see them all the time and I agree with your comment that the glare in the eye does give this life.

    Wayne, first of all hawks numbers are increasing and it should not be hard to find them, just keep looking in your area and bring your camera gear with you and the rest is luck seeing them low and close enough to get that shot of them.
