Portrait Swan

This is a discussion on Portrait Swan within the WildLife forums, part of the Picture Galleries category; A couple swans had come up very close to us, and I really love the eyes in this image....

    Portrait Swan

    A couple swans had come up very close to us, and I really love the eyes in this image.

    All I can say is amazing, and I have to ghet out with the new gear and try birding around my area.

    Did you use a flash Dennis? Nice close up I sometimes use the healing tool to tone down the hot spots on the beak

    Thanks James... Practice and dumb luck is all that is needed to capture birds. And it is fun at the same time.

    No flash Don at all, I see your point about the beak, never thought of it at the time. In the red area the healing brush worked OK, but the dark areas not so good so I left it as is.
