Owl Images From Florida

Hello Forum

Just returned from a week long trip to Florida. Here are some the first images that I processed. I would like to thank Don for taking the time to show me several wildlife spots in
central Florida. really had a great time searching the parks and refuges for wildlife.

Lighting was a challenge since the nest was located in a tree hollow, and I did not bring a flash to Florida to save weight.

Owls were not very co-operative with keeping eyes open guess young ones were keeping them up at night.

I think you should hurry back to Florida, the birds are asking for you.
The Owls like to sleep at lot, but every once in a while they wake up and give all the poeple a big yawn

Peter, very nice series of images with the owls. I agree that the lighting can be tough at times in this location but it is worth it when you get results like these posts.
I really like that last image, it has that cute factor. Nice shooting.

Thanks guys, as for returning to Florida I would leave in a minute it is minus 10 here in Ottawa this morning. Compared to last week when the temps were were 70-80 everyday don't know why I came back.

I to love owls and very nice images of them, but I really like the last image because of the cute factor, but #1 is a great too.
