    Thanks very much James for your comments on these. I always get a kick when you capture something different that you can post. I thinkn the last time I photographed the Pintail was 3 or 4 years ago.

    Hi Don, and I have to agree with you, it makes it a less standard image that is not captured all the time. I sure enjoyed seeing the Pintail that morning, and hoping to get out there this week depending on the weather and this time I'm going to take the D700 which is a full frame body which might be able to get some full body shots of him.

    I am sure the D700 will do the Pintail justice. But watch the Pintails will be way off shore. LOL

    You know Don, I had the same thoughts when I posted this message. But I still will use the full frame body just the same, and bring the converter with me just in case.
