    Hooded Mergansers

This morning went out to the park with Glen, and meet a bunch of others there that we both know. The birding was poor for today, and not that many images taken this morning, but maybe Sunday might be better.

These images where taken in low lighting and I think 1/250 sec for these, but I like the movement in the wings looks nice, and wished for a bit more sharpness but I like the mood.

The movement does look good in these bif shots. I like the eye in the second shot, but the light in the first one.

Brian, when I posted these images I thought just the same thing you mentioned. Thanks for your comments.

I have to say these are nice images. As mentioned number one has the best lighting and the eye in the second one is sharper but I don't know how you guys pull these off.

Thanks Tom, and wished the there was more light as they may have been sharper, but it was good to see that the Nikon D-700 almost nailed them. The lighting is great I agree with the first image, and the eye contact better on the second one. Was fun trying.

Thanks Gail for your comments and almost sharp images, I think I have a good one from this morning that I will post later on.

Cool wing blurs, adds motion to the photos.
