This is the Mama Owl. She is sitting on 2, week old chicks. I managed a quick glimpse of the top of the heads only of the chicks.
Papa Owl is always close by. There is a couple of Hawks in the area and there are not happy with more Owls in the 'hood

Don
I know this place and tree. Just look at how she blends into the tree, and hope both of them can avoid those pesky hawks. When we you they sure were picking out the one high in the tree at the time.
Nice capture Don.

Nice image of the owl nesting, she sure blends in well with the tree.
Cool photo, and I agree she sure blends in well. You mentioned hawks, will they try to attack the owls?
She sure does blend in with the tree. It must be fun trying to find her.

Nice image Don, hope you will show me where this tree is located, I remember the park short of recall where the tree is located.

Great shot Don. I just love owls in general they are neat looking birds that one could just watch and do nothing else. She really does blend into the tree, you almost have to look twice to see here and thanks for shasring this with us.
