Hi all, I thought that I would start taking advantage of Lightroom and use it as a catalog for my images, so I went through some old images that I know I did not add any keywords. Well I use Photo Mechanic to view my images and kill the ones that I will be sending to the trash can. So in Photo Mechanic I started to add Structured Key-wording to those images and the first ones went just fine and Imported the images to Lightroom and perfect. But I noticed the in PM that you can add a separator to the words, well I will tell you Lightroom does not like that format all all, they have to be coma delimit words.
Now I have to figure out how to fix this up in order to import the images into Lightroom, there is a work around which I will add them in LR, but now I know what I need to do. Lots of work with the other images that I have, but a little at a time to do this.
For those that don't know what I'm saying here is that when you add keywords to your images like (Aviation, jets, planes, CF-18 Hornet). What happens here with the words that I have the keywords for if I go into Lightroom now and CTRL-F to find, I can use any of those words to find the images in LR. If you have a few thousand images this make it easy to find them and in my case 27000 of them and I just finished going through all of them and I would say I was closer to 50000 of them at one time. So it is good to use key-wording.
