Yes they do make one, as I was looking into this and the one that might work is the DGX model, from what I found this will report the lens settings propery in the EXIF data. They other one thast does not seem to do this well is the Tamron.
Wayne,
You need to Google these both and make sure that you will be able to auto focus with either check out the reviews from others as well.

Does any here use third party TC converters?
I did some searching and some say that it may auto focus and no guarantee. Was doing some reading and some say tape the 3 pins down and others report that it works with out the tape man this is not going to be easy.
I want to order ths converter next week. It would be cool if I can find some one that has done this.
Wayne this is common practice to get the converters to work by taping the pins. Now you might get away with it with out the tape, and I know that the Tamron converter I had worked with ou the tape and in fact it worked very well and reported the f/stops fine. I think that the tape helps in correcting the right f/stop used for the camera. I would suggest before you buy the converter that you do a search for your camera and lens and third party converters and see if there is one that will work with out taping the pins, I'm not a fan of doing this sort of thing.
