    Extension Tubes

Well, I have been thinking of getting extension tubes for the Nikon gear, as I don't want to got out and send the money on a macro lens just yet. The good thing is that both Lynn and I can use them with our gear.

I've been setting up a new rig for macro this past week, birds are drying up for the summer. Working on a new flash bracket setup. I'd hoped to try it out this weekend, but as usual RAIN in the forecast!! Already have extension tubes I have the cheap kenko brand. They are basically empty toilet paper rolls with lens connectors so no need to go name brand.

I am not really interested in macro photography. I had tubes and even bellows for my old film camera, but could not get into it. I guess cause I am not a small detail kind of guy. I don't have patience for small and fiddly

Which ones did you get from Canon, I've still got to look into this and maybe after here I will see what they have for Nikon.

I hear you Glen, but as long as they do the job that is the main thing, and it wants to pour at there but yet to do it... Seems that the weekends are common with rain thus far.

Don, I just want them to shoot some flowers without going out and getting a macro lens, and maybe a few other things. Just some thing differnent to do when the birds are not around.

It seem that I will have to get the same, as Nikon only has an old version of tubes, so they say that I need the DG version of them and will check into these next week.
