What a great theme and I happened to get one the other day while testing some locations for the kayak challenge!

Well that did not take long for an image to show up thanks Randy as I was trying to find one and it seems that I need to walk around and capture some stuff.

    Re: Graffiti

Very nice Chuck, there sure is a ton of this stuff all over the place and some of this is really good. I don't have shots like these at this time and this weekend is not the time to head out as this is the last weekend for the CNE exhibition and the air show is on this weekend as well, so I will head out next week and give a try and see whats out there.

    Re: Graffiti

    Thanks Dennis.
Yes, we have a lot of graffiti in western North Carolina for sure.
I have been tracking it for the last three years and have over 3,000 images on my web site.
There is some in my area that are very artistic.
The Asheville police want to blame it on gangs but the people that I have ran into are very nice.
We have one tagger in my area that puts up new graffiti every month.
He always tags the same letters "SICR" but every time he does it he uses different colors or design for the letters. I will post some of his work later in the month to show you how he changes it up.
I have also noticed a small tag beside some of the big graffiti "MOMS" and I ask what the meaning of it was from one of the guys that I ran into. He said marks on most surfaces.
