    December 2010 - Holidays

Sorry I'm a little late on this one with work and I was off sick for a week or so, I forgot all about it.

I figured maybe to get people into the Holiday Spirit and try not to put away the
camera's because the weather isn't the best, pick an easy one this month as it seems last months was not a winner.

So this month, take some photos of what your Holidays mean. I'm sure there are different traditions or take a picture of the neighbors house with lights. What ever you decide.

    Happy Holidays and happy shooting....

Hi Randy, and I agree that one just did not work out at all, but I really like the idea of this months theme.

I'll start off the holiday spirit and playing around with the new lens. Christmas came early and with it was a 24-70 2.8L Lens :)

Well Randy, Santa was good to you this year. It looks sharp, but blurry around the edges grin! Hope that you will enjoy your new lens and congrats

Yes, Santa was VERY good. I'm very impressed with this lens, however it does make the setup a bit heavy and I can imagine once I get my hands on the 70-200 2.8 IS lens what a treat I am in for!

Here is another one I took from this afternoon for my picture of the day and I only have a handful of days left!

    Some Holiday Humor.......

The Angel Atop The Tree Tradition

One Christmas, Santa was having a really bad day. The local elves union was up in arms over their contract and were threatening a walk-out. Mrs. Clause was ****** that Santa was never around to appreciate all of the hard work she had been doing around the house. Santa decided he needed to go home, sit in front of a fire and relax.

When he got there, Miss Clause was all up in his face and wouldn't let down. Then, there was a knock on the door. It was Rudolph. He said the reindeer were sick and tired of Santa not upgrading to the new lightweight sliegh and they were joining the elves walkout. Santa slammed the door and threatend "The next person who knocks on that door is gonna get it!"

At that time, there was a knock on the door. Santa flung the door open and there stood a tiny little angel. The angel had been searching for the perfect Christmas tree for Santa's house all day long, until it found the perfect one. The little angel asked, "Santa, I was wondering where you would like me to stick this tree?"

And that is the story of how the angel atop the tree tradition began.

Love the little tiny clothes. So cute!

I finally got out my gear and took some shots today. Wish there was some snow to use as a background.

Larkspur, I have to say that I really like this and that boot is so neat, where did you find that one? I wanted to get out today, but the weather sucks here, and I hope to get out next week.
