Have you evewr seen a bird image and your noticed that there is double catch light in the eye of the bird? Now for me I don't care for the double catch light in the eye.

So easy to fix this, blow the image up and use the Clone Tool and a selection in the dark area, and now use the tool to remove the part you dont' want the catch light and now it looks much better.
