  1. Iomega ix2 Hard Drive

    I had the Drobo fan not pushing out enough air and need to find a fan that has the CFM flow rate of equal or greater air flow. So the drive is down and and I nneded to have a backup in place just in case, and ended up with the Iomega drive from Futureshop which at first I was not sure that I was goin g to like this drive. Well after getting home and testing the transfer rates, this drive suprised me in more ways with it's speed.

  2. Drobo Storage Units

    I have a Drobo 2 system that holds 4 drives, but in the last bit I heard a noise coming from the unit and thought it was a drive that was on it's way out, so I ended up picking up a couple of larger drives to be replaced. So I started to pull one drive, than another and another one and the unit was still making a noise. Hum, why on earth did I not think of this before, the fan in the back was making all that noise.

  3. Dodge and Burn With A Wacom Tablet

    This is neat and something to look into with our images, don`t need a tablet to do this, but it does help with the control when using brushes. Another thing that I have learned, and that is why I post these little Blogs as if I get something out of this, I`m sure you will as well.

    Local control is the ability to change small parts of an image without affecting the rest. This tutorial will demonstrate how to use local control with a Wacom tablet.

  5. Installing intuos4 wireless

    I have this one and I found it easy to install the wireless. Make sure that you have a PC or laptop that has a Bluetooth device in it. When I tranded my small version for this one I was not aware that the person had the wireless version and when I got home forund that my PC and laptop don`t have Bluetooth built into them. Luky for me I remember that I had bought a USB device for BlueTooth.
